Are you hustling away?

Getting outside your comfort zone?

Fighting through the challenges?

Working through your fear, doubts, and frustrations?

What is it all for? What makes it worth it for you? I’ll end the questions now and let you know that many of my clients are hustling away so they can build their business, make more sales and provide a life for themselves with freedom.

Great dream, right?

However, what happens when you don’t get the results you were expecting to see? What happens if you grind away for weeks, months, even years and you still aren’t ‘there yet’?

What’s going to keep you moving forward if the ‘results’ aren’t there?

That’s what happens when entrepreneurs come to me and want help with their motivation.

They can no longer provide the determination and focus to work on their business because they feel disappointed, upset and confused.

They are no longer bringing their resourceful selves to their work, causing a cycle of despair.

I see the biggest shifts in my clients when I see their motivation shift from external rewards, to also internal rewards.

Those who fall into the cycle of despair often view challenges as ‘something in the way’ of accomplishing what they want.

When they ‘fail’ to overcome this challenge, they feel like something has been taken away from them, and they start wanting because they now feel the lack of it.

Sound familiar??

I think it’s been all of us at times. I’ve definitely felt it!

But what can be the internal rewards? What keeps you motivated and moving from the inside so you can face challenges even when you don’t see the external results you were expecting?

Well, what do you value most??

I’m sure having a life with money, freedom and time is great, but if the health of a loved one was in serious jeopardy, I’m sure your perspective on your business would change, right?

Achievement is important, but many have achieved and found themselves more miserable than when they started.

My guess is, at your core what matters most to you is love, growth, and contribution.

These values are hard to appreciate and recognise when we are fearful, uncertain or feel insignificant.

But what do you think you will value when you are on your deathbed? It won’t be the number of clients, the figure in your bank account or the car that sits in your driveway.

What gives you fulfilment is the level of love you shared, who you became on the journey and what you did to contribute to the lives of others.

THIS IS IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER!

These forces provide more internal motivation than any material thing if you get down to the core of what you are about.

What is the real reason why I brought this up?

None of these things would be possible without challenges!!

Without challenges, your life may be happy and great, but it wouldn’t be deep and meaningful. A life without challenges is like an ocean with no waves. Thank god there’s, conflict, currents and the wind interacting with the massive body of water.

When you face a challenge in your business, it forces you to reach inside and build emotional resourcefulness. It teaches you to learn more about yourself. It provides the OPPORTUNITY for growth, in which offers you more to give, including love for yourself and others.

If you are looking for a particular outlook on life that’s crucial, I haven’t come across any better than this.

This is why I view growing a business as a vehicle. All this journey provides is a vehicle for me to face challenges, so I can grow. If I wasn’t building a coaching business, I’d be doing something else that provides just as much challenge.

So think about what motivates you

What’s going to keep you going internally even when things aren’t going your way, even when no one wants to buy from you, even when you are fearful to put yourself out there?

Do you have what it takes to look in deeper, discover who you are at your core and see why it is you are pulled to a journey of challenge?

That’s where you may find the answers you are looking for.
